The companies are taking further steps to unite their positioning in the Netherlands and Europe. F&B Group and Certion announced their merger in September 2021.
LELYSTAD / FRANEKER – F&B Group and Certion change their name to Iver. This was announced earlier today at WindDay, the largest annual trade fair in the Netherlands for wind energy and sustainability. The name change is part of a broader repositioning of the company, which aims to present its strong, unambiguous identity to the world.
“Our new positioning is a logical choice. With the same name, mission and vision, we are stronger strategically and financially. It also does justice to our shared culture and lays the foundation for further growth. We firmly believe we will achieve more under the same name, Iver: within our national and international markets and for our clients, but also in terms of sustainability,’’ explains Sjoerd Bartlema, CEO of Iver.
Energy for tomorrow’s planet
F&B Group and Certion are known as experts in wind energy. Together, they bundle over 50 years of expertise and experience. In addition to the strong synergy in services, the companies found each other in their shared mission: working with energy for tomorrow’s planet. Iver works with the leaders of the energy transition to make their sustainable mission a reality. “Working hard to realize ambitions is in our DNA. Also, it is the true meaning of the name ‘Iver’, which translates to ‘zeal’ in English,” Bartlema states. “Zeal and common sense are basic principles for working responsibly and reaching long term goals.”
Full-service partner in wind
Since the merger in September, a lot of work has been done behind the scenes to integrate and optimize processes. Currently, the focus is on exchanging knowledge, combining expertise and uniting and strengthening the internal organization. Iver can respond to any phase in the life cycle of a wind turbine and now provides its clients even more complete solutions. Sustainable entrepreneurship and attention to people will always be key to future growth.

The name change will be effective immediately. In the course of time, all F&B Group and Certion output will be replaced.
